Tim Walker V&A exhibition

The Tim Walker exhibition felt like I was walking through different worlds in each room. Every room was designed to have its own atmosphere and theme. One room would have music playing, another room would be completely yellow or pink. One room would have moving image and another would have his sketchbook and inspiration displayed. His display consisted of photographs, moving image and artefacts. Viewing his work, you could tell his main work is fashion and portraiture. His sense of uniqueness is by doing things out of the norm. What was interesting about the exhibition was not knowing what to expect in the next room. His compositions ranged; 3D or disorientated, broken glass (most likely done in post-production), simple, monochrome colours or a bright, bold use of colours. Tim Walker has inspired me to step out of my comfort zone, to experiment with objects, props, clothes that are used in shoots and to create a new meaning with them. He has also inspired me to explore more with post-production.
